Alison's Moly
Round 8 in Alison's book is now complete. Will be on its way to Tracy very soon. Keeping with a musical theme I have chosen Hindu Goddess of art, music and literature, Saraswati for Alison's book.

Unfinished In Alison's Moly
Hi Group, here is my yet to be finished spread in Alison's book. I had
offered to show it to Melissa in my comment on Kerry's last post.
As you can see I am still slowly working on it and have not gone 'AWOL'.
Sorry to all of you, especially Melissa for being so behind. I sincerely
promise this will be mailed by the END OF THIS WEEK!!

Alison's Moly
Just some friends trying to help me get back into drawing. I've been so bummed all week about the missing moly that I truly didn't feel like touching any of the three in front of me. Marty's words helped and so I got back on the horse last night. Clare, I've set you up with another favorite from your pal, Vinnie. Will be posting early next week. There are a few loose ends I saw on the video that I want to clean up.

Tracy's entry; Alison's Book
As promised, here is a better shot of Tracy's playful illustration in Alison's book. These books keep getting better and better. So great to see three different artists this time around.

New arrival
Well, I am pretty sure that two (or more) members of this swap were sharing a brainwave this past month. Alison, your moly is here and it is a sight to behold. It is such a powerfully delicate combination and I will try not to barge in like the bull in a china shop (down! down! inktense pencils.) I cannot wait to begin. I will scan the latest entry as soon as a certain toddler naps.

Sorry ....
...for the delay but at long last my moly entry is finished..
Not at all sure about the perspective on that saxophone, something's wrong there but I've tried to keep going with the style and the "story" started by Alison.....and I'm now the proud owner of a 0.05 micron pen. Really interested to see what happens to the mouthpiece on that saxophone!!
Right .....off now to pop it into the post!

Playing about...
not sure this will be the final version but I'm getting closer.
....and while I was scanning in couldn't resist a little photochopping!!
eventually I am going to have to buy some inks and try doing this by hand!

When the accordion plays, anything can happen
Here I am at last. First, is my sign-in page, two keys each. On my Scribbles blog, there is a two-picture set of memory paintings, about the gypsies and music and how I wanted to learn to play the accordion - the end of that story, not included there as it happened after we emigrated from Scotland (and after a year of vile piano lessons), is that I did get to play an accordion and it has been one of my greatest pleasures - a vehicle for the songs of my soul. So I can't pass up the opportunity to make this little Moley even more accordion-like.
As I sat looking at the empty 'bellows', this 'streetscape' fell onto the page. The world is a strange place! As you have all posted some pages, I have incorporated snippets from them too. Who knows what might be through the arch on the right - could be anything!
And here, of course, is the end page.

I just used pen and watercolour - I find the pages take it ok, though a few colours need a little help from some soap to stick. I will be posting this off tomorrow - in a plain envelope, as I think it is less likely to be stolen.
