I wasn't able to scan this before going off to an art camp for a week - so here it is now. It will be in the post to Jan tomorrow. The action has moved outside in this panorama now - we're having a heatwave here. I would love to have a pool like this and a David Hockney on my wall.

Good to see your work, Alison. I hope you'll show a bunch from the art camp.

I wish you had that pool too Alison. I hope it cools down soon! Gorgeous drawing. I love the way you are truly submerged in the water and your gesture shows you are happy to be there. As for the Hockney, I wish it was on my wall, not yours!

Well, Annie, it was a workshop about art as process - mostly discussion and reading - so I have nothing to 'show'. In fact, maybe it lets me off the hook for ever! Perhaps art 'objects' are so passe :)Except I am driven to 'make'. So there will be more 'product' by and by.

Art Camp? That sounds like fun. Love your version of the splash. I'm a fan of Hockney's and use him with my students quite a bit. I love how you took the party out of doors.
