More favourite things - our family a la Deepings Dolls, a cosy corner, a magic carpet, imagination, fresh vegies and my polka dot scarf - for 'journeying' in all its senses. Now it is off to Jan's, its last stop before home to Clare.
The detail on that up close is so great. *sniff* anyone else getting a little sad that we won't get to see some of these in person? Are the dolls as they are, or have you placed your family members in their stead? Great job.
Melissa, we sent photos and detailed requirements to the Deepings company in Tasmania - so they catch the moment when Finnian grew taller than me - and the children's favourite shirts - Tor's stretched as he grew from age 3 to 10!. The set was a Christmas gift to Finnian when she was on exchange in Germany and feeling rather homesick. Yes, the pages are definately better in person.
It took until I got the book in my hands to look at to see the quickunpick. I love my quickunpick too, although I would never have thought to put that in words before!
Alison I have a few Deepings Dolls of my own, but they are not family members :( You have given me the idea!!! I will try and get them to make my two baby grandsons for my daughter as a Christmas Gift, :),,,, Then, Of course, I will have to have my own too.......... I can't wait to hold and drool over my wee book once again. I guess you all feel the same?? I am so going to miss this exchange, I am thinking I will go again!
Oh Alison, I forgot to mention, your page reminded me of my very first entry into my very first Moleskine. Here. http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/7540/1234/1600/Top10.jpg
